MBC was established in 1990 to integrate the Syrian Pharmaceutical map and support the local industry. Take-off began effective in 1992 in manufacturing human drugs and public health articles. The factory is located in Damascus on an area of 11.000 Sq. meter. The buildings represent about 40% of the total capita invested, with personnel of 70. MBC applies several administrative rules (GMP, GLP) and presently is on the final stage to get ISO 9002. Several therapeutically categories were studied: in cardiology, GI, neurology, NASID, respiratory, and several laboratories have granted licenses to MBC for up to-date formulations: SCAT (FRANCE), CHINION, EGIS, G.RICHTER (HUNGARIY) LEK (SLOVENIA). MBC lines are Tables, Effervescent Tables, Capsule, Antibiotic, Sachet, Dry syrup, and Injectable (CA-RPLOS). These lines are under optimum humidity & temperature control to end always with more stable drugs. MBC gains a good reputation in the local market and is exporting to several countries such as Iraq & Yemen. Products are under registration in Lebanon & Lydia.
